2005 has been a wonderful year. You probably have many, more-interesting Christmas letters to read, so I shall just keep this short. I hope that it doesn't disappoint you that I haven't had another lung collapse since last year. My health has been great and I've made a full recovery. However, the week before Christmas introduced me to my first wisdom-teeth extraction. The procedure was rather painless and it barely bumped me from my daily workflow. This year, I've learned a lot about God's guidance and provision. When I had my own plans, He lovingly showed me something better. And because of this, I have a special announcement. I am now an official speaker for Answers in Genesis (AiG)! This has been my heart's desire for ten years. This will not interfere with my usual duties as presentation designer at AiG. A few engagements have already been scheduled for me in the coming months. Also at AiG, I produced two complete videos for Creation Museum for featuring in fund-raising banquets, special tours through the under-construction museum, and recently mailed to hundreds of Creation Museum Charter Members (yes, you have both videos, but one of them is hidden). But both videos may also be viewed in my new portfolio. On the subject of videos, those two Creation Museum videos took all the time that I would have normally dedicated to my annual church Year in Review, so I had to eventually cancel it completely. It would have been my fifth and last, but I'll just have to live with only four. Someday, I will complete the animated short, "Chair Wars," that was supposed to open the video. In August, I launched my finally redesigned website, DJosephDesign.com. This has generated more business and many new clients for my new web hosting. It also featured the relaunch of my articles & blog, which I update more regularly now that it uses better software (WordPress). In 2006, I plan to launch three new websites that will further my digital "empire." As you might have expected, the first two sites will be for soundtracks and presentation design, but I won't say anything about the third website … except this. Expect it to impact the way that you do things online. I've hired a programmer to work with me on this. My faithful Toshiba notebook has finally started to crack and crumble from age (literally), so I recently purchased a Sager 5720 that is so powerful and feature packed that it could almost replace my desktop computer. I won't call this a member of the family like someone else has, but it is a crucial part of my daily life. I'd love to hear from you, and especially see you in person if you're in Cincinnati. But until then, may God richly bless you and your family! Faithfully in the hands of Christ Jesus,
