Great Day!

Today was so productive that I felt I just had to tell everyone (meaning the couple readers that I still have left) about my day: Today, I:
  1. [BONUS] finally got the first couple beta releases of AiG's Questions CD-ROM
  2. enjoyed a free sugar–carb breakfast provided at AiG by United Mail. They do this every year for the staff
  3. attended and led a portion of a great meeting with the other AiG speakers
  4. worked only a half-day because I have so much vacation time accumulated that I have the rest of the year off
  5. got home to have my outdoor plumbing leak evaluated by a friend
  6. was given some Christmas decorations from a friend
  7. fixed a toilet that wouldn't stop flushing
  8. installed some fixtures
  9. unpacked several boxes and repacked and stored others
  10. cleaned some blinds that I realized I never had cleaned since I moved in (they were nasty!)
  11. discovered the workaround to my stereo's automatically turning off while my Mac Mini was playing audio.
  12. successfully completed my chemistry project (cookies) for tomorrow's division lunch at AiG
  13. diagnosed and resolved the last of my heater problems with a friend's help (the HVAC guy actually messed it up)—over instant messenger
  14. heard back from a friend who will attend my Christmas party
  15. and I may have even received Sounding Joy!'s latest CD, "Further Imagine"—I mean, "A Passion for Your Glory"—but I won't know until I check my mailbox tomorrow.
Yes, it was a good day. The only negative to today is that my knee is hurting again. But that will be gone tomorrow.
