Creation Museum

In mid-October, my parents and I attended Answers in Genesis' "Weekend in Paradise," which was an all-expense-paid, multiday, vacation weekend for invited AiG supporters. This was a fun time that my parents recall as one of their most-wonderful getaways in a while. During the Saturday-evening banquet, I was talking with Patrick, the Creation Museum designer. I'd half-joked, half-seriously stated that it would be awesome to have my someday-somewhere-over-the-rainbow wedding reception at Creation Museum. But Patrick, very factually, said that someone else beat me to it—but they plan to have their wedding at Creation Museum! You may first think that this is weird, but Creation Museum would make a beautiful place for it. It's also interesting to realize that Creation Museum upholds a strong foundation of marriage than most churches. So it makes a great place! Recently, Ken and Mally ham needed a new portrait to send to a church. We always try to shoot this somewhere in the Museum to showcase something cool. We talked about different places, and picked the plaza. I had in mind some fun lighting effects and it resulted in this: So if you're looking for a romantic getaway, consider Creation Museum!
