Special Announcement

Tuesday, February 14, was a special day for me. This Valentine's Day marks a special anniversary between me and the young love of my life. It was just a few years ago that we were joined together. Many people suspected it. Some even match-made us before it was official. But this was a match made first in heaven by the Lord of true love. These wonderful years have flown by so quickly! But the joy is still fresh every day. And—WOW!—the passion and fire is even stronger now than ever before. God has so blessed and guided our relationship to something so much deeper. Yes, there have been hard times. But through each trial, we grow closer together. I'm excited to say that we share the same goals and purpose in life—in our very existence! And we have an undying commitment to each other. God is so awesome to have blessed in this way. The love that He gives us to revel in is so ... well, I can't describe it! It's too wonderful for me to understand! I wish that there was enough time for me to tell the beautiful story, but I'll write it all later. My journal is full of the incredible details of God's leading me to this point in life. And I've been amazed to see every step confirmed in the blessing of my authorities. So, please celebrate with me on this wonderful occasion, because I can hardly contain my joy. Five of the best years of my life, and many more to come ... serving God at Answers in Genesis. It's my wooden anniversary (twenty-five years is silver, five years is wood). Isn't God awesome? Like Paul said, I wish that you could have this same joy as me, but many of you already do in other areas of life.
