Pull! Pull! PULL!

Almost two weeks ago, I was on my way to have my car's oil changed. I'd just come from AiG's open house and booksale at Creation Museum. At that booksale, I had a wonderful cup of chili from Creation Museum's cafe. But please understand, the short story that I am about to tell was, in no way, caused by that chili. During that thirty-five-minute drive, I noticed that I had something stuck in my upper-back-right tooth. Realizing that I had no toothpicks, floss, toothbrush, or hammer and nails, I used ye olde finger to get the little bit of ground beef of of my tooth. But in the process, I got more than ground beef; I had five pieces of tooth come out with my finger. That day, I lost about one-third of the visible wisdom tooth. To my knowledge, healthy teeth are not supposed crumble like that. (Sorry, I didn't check for a Teeth firmware upgrade.) I schedule for an examination at a local dentist. And the conclusion wasn't good. He indicated that I have probably forty to sixty more years to live. But before I live out those final years, I'd need to have my top two third molars extracted. The right tooth is crumbled, and the left tooth is impacted, but not yet causing problems. My teeth are very strange. I'm curious if anyone has ever noticed what is easily visible from my front teeth. (I can just imagine what everyone will do the next time that I see them.) Because of the way my teeth are arranged in my jaw, I only need the top third molars removed. This is because, oddly enough, the top second molars contact the bottom third molars. Weird, huh? I've seen weirder (yes, Jeremy, I'm talking about you). So today, at 10:30 AM, these top two offending molars will be extracted. As much as the choice of local anesthesia appealed to me in that I would get to hear the teeth being yanked, I opted for the doctors to put me to sleep (temporarily) so that I won't get bored. :) Please pray for my quick recovery. I really want to go ice skating with some friends on Friday. And let's not forget Christmas turkey!
