This year, AiG's Communications Division (“ComDiv" as I've nicknamed it) is having its own Christmas party lunch on Tuesday, December 12. For this occasion, I invented a special desert.
Imagine this. A layered chocolate pie that is in the clouds for anyone’s chocolate fantasy. In contrasting layers that would make Sack’s Fifth Avenue jealous, a rich, dark layer of thick chocolate pudding is joined with light layers of fluffy milk chocolate cream. Encased in a chocolate-graham crust, this little taste of heaven is drizzled with Hershey’s chocolate syrup, a dab of whipped cream, and elegant white chocolate shavings. This dessert will pleasure your taste buds and make them plead for more.
I'm thinking of calling it "The Chocolate-Fantasy Escape." (Runners-up were "Chocolardiac Arrest" and "Chocozuma's Revenge.")
Local non-TV personality and dessert critic Jeremy Laughlin said of The Chocolate-Fantasy Escape, “Escape your fantasies with this kick-in-the-pants dessert that will snap you back to reality and tell you that everything’s better with chocolate.”
