They Found Me!

"They found me. I don't know how, but they found me. RUN FOR IT, MARTY!" Aah, "Doc's" immortal words from Back to the Future. However, with DJosephDesign.com, I can see how "they" found me. While watching my website stats, I always enjoy seeing how people come to this site. If my site is linked to from another site, it registers as a referral. I get referrals all the time when someone visits from one of the online forums of which I'm a member. If my website is returned by an internet search engine, such as Google or Yahoo!, the referral link allows me to see the exact text someone typed to get those results. In the past month, it has been quite interesting to see. But because search engines are constantly refreshing themselves, DJosephDesign.com doesn't always reappear on the same page. But nevertheless, it's interesting to see. Here are some such search phrases that returned DJosephDesign.com: • Number two for "Articles on the depletion of the O-zone"! Interestingly, that links to my "PowerPoint vs. Keynote" article • Page 1, number 7 for "WMAP confirms Creation Hugh Ross" (truth is that WMAP did not confirm Huge Ross) • "Pneumothorax PowerPoint" had me on page 2 (yeah, I talked about my collapsed lung and PowerPoint in the same conversation a whole lot) • "Keynote 2.0" put me on page 3, number 24 • I was pleased to see that "against preterism" had my introductory article has number 4 (if you don't count the subpage results, of which there were only two) • "Hash Animation:Master review" put me in page 3 for number 21 • "Dane Walker," who composed D.Joseph Design's theme music, put me all the way to page 9 (anyone who gets to page 9 must be either desperate for a search result or really bored) • "Watch 3D animations" gave me page 2, number 18 • "CNN Bill Gothard" placed me on page 2 • "Refuting Gothard" linked to my my blog section "Confronting the Issues of Today" • Or my favorite, "confronting creationists" stuck me on page 2! :P
