Writing projects

After a long time of extended study and research, I would like to announce my current writing projects that I hope will soon see public release. These will probably be more than just a simple one-page article, but may ultimately become booklet-sized resources. If you have any input on the below topics, feel free to contact me, but I will probably not yet respond to debate. Relevance of a Literal Genesis in Today’s Culture The church, in general and as a whole, is losing its influence and strength in society. Christians are unable to defend their faith, Christian leaders are compromising and losing the battle over vital issues, and family breakup is accelerating at an alarming pace. What has happened to the culture? Where has the power of God’s people vanished? Why is the church, in general, unable to reach and effectively evangelize a dying world? What importance is the book of Genesis to today’s science? A Stand Against Preterism A belief pervading our society is attacking many of the deep doctrines of the Christian faith. This alternate belief, while claiming foundations in the Bible, is based on many questionable interpretations and applications in Scripture. Is Jesus Christ’s “second coming

Hi Daniel, I could not help

Hi Daniel, I could not help but notice your statement. "After a long time of extended study and research..." I am looking forward to reading your "Stand Against Preterism" paper. I have completed over 10 years of serious study concerning this topic and am fully ready to answer any objections concerning this most important doctrine. You said, "Do Christians have a blessed future hope or a false understanding of Scripture?" This is a straw man argument and should not be used. You have set up a false dichotomy. What in essence you are saying, is that Christians either have one of two options. A future hope, or a wrong understanding of scripture. It would be better to say that either Preterism is true, or it is false. This would be a better premise upon which to prove or disprove. I hope that eventually you might open this to a public debate. Truth has nothing to fear from an open and honest investigation. --Mark

Yes, I worded that question

Yes, I worded that question wrong. I just changed it to "Do Christians have a blessed future hope or is that hope based on a false understanding of Scripture?" Those are the "two options" I intended to communicate. The "long time" is as a whole. These three topics have been my primary study for the past few years; preterism being the youngest. I do hope to redesign my site to allow easy public discussion in forums, but my reason for saying I won't debate yet is that I want to state my position before debating, but I may still reply if someone e-mails with debate, but I may not.
