About D.Joseph Design

Growing up in a military family (the United States Air Force), I was taught order and discipline from a young age. I inherited both of my parents' reasonable attention to detail. As I matured, that developed into a desire for precision and a demand for professionalism. I learned to never give unless it was my very best. When I began study in the creative arts field and focused on graphic design, my eyes were opened to the incredible lack of quality in countless products and productions. I could not believe a company or organization would release something as representation of their quality, but with the appearance of apathy for professionalism. I was tired of businesses allowing second or third-rate products, and I was especially disappointed when churches and Christian organizations would compromise quality with the excuse that, "it pleases the Lord."

As a strong Christian, I see through God's Holy Word, the Bible, that our Heavenly Father never asked for second-best, but demanded holiness and excellence in every detail. Just a study of the Old Testament Jerusalem temple makes this obvious. I also never found any instance of God sparing His love and atonement for us. He gave His own begotten Son—His most precious part of Himself—to die a horrible death to take the full punishment for our sins but then Christ Jesus rose again in victory over death as we, too, will someday ascend into heaven with Him. Such an awesome, wonderful, loving, all-powerful, all-creative, almighty God is worthy of far greater than the "best" our mortal, finite hearts can give. However, our love and relationship with him is more precious than the burnt offerings.

Our God created the entire universe with His spoken word. He did not have to wait millions of years, or start some primordial soup that would "naturally" evolve into humans by way of death, suffering, disorder, chance and random processes. His communication was all it took to brighten the universe with light, to cause the world to exist, and to create man out of the dust of the Earth. All of creation and science continues to prove His power, and reflect his attributes even through its sin-cursed state.

Considering these vital truths, the importance of communication and of attention to fine detail is self-evident. It is to this end that D.Joseph Design was officially founded in February, 2002.

My goal for D.Joseph Design is to not only please you, the client, but to ensure that the quality and professionalism of our productions reflect the wisdom and order of our Creator. "Good enough" certainly is not good enough. I refuse to settle for less than the best, and I will always strive to glorify God in everything that I, and D.Joseph Design produce. To God—and God alone—be the glory!
